HOPE

January 2008

I went into liver transplant surgery on January 2nd. This is me just before being wheeled off to the operating room.

I was in the hospital for nine days. This was my first solid food meal in a week.

The rest of the month I spent recovering. Two weeks after I left the hospital my doctor removed the staples holding me together.

December 2007

There was a pretty bad ice storm.

Christmas festivities were fun as always.

I visited Sarah, Willow, August, and Jen in St. Louis.

November 2007

Mike came to Kansas and we went antiquing.

We also went to he Flint Hills.

Kevin visited, too.

We went to the Kansas City Museum.

October 2007

I visited Trevor in Golden, Colorado.



I worked as a substitute teacher a few times.
