This is where I'm from...

Kansas is a Midwestern state in the Central United States. The state is named after the Kansas River that flows through it, which in turn derived its name from the Kansa tribe. The tribe's name (native kkÄ…:ze) seems to be connected to the idea of "wind". Residents of Kansas are called "Kansans."

It looks like it's been a while since I've used this thing, and I'm not sure if these updates will mean I'll be posting more frequently. I don't usually have a lot to share with the unkown that makes the World Wide Web what it is.

Lawrence, Kansas, Alan at 18, 2006

This is one of my rare portraits. My younger brother, Alan, is always a good subject though.
